It’s over a year since I first saw Everything Everything live at 93 Feet East: they just keep on getting better. Tonight they played an in-store at Rough Trade East. Price of entry? I got two wristbands with my copy of their new album, Man Alive (which felt like buying two gig tickets very cheap and getting a free CD).
The list was short but the set was tight: old favourites mixed in with new songs. Qwerty Finger seemed to get the approval of the crowd, MY KZ, YR BF was comfortably sandwiched in the middle, and they finished on a high with Photoshop Handsome. The band signed CDs and posters afterwards, like the thoroughly nice fellows they are. If you haven’t seen them yet, you must. You can even follow them on Twitter. Go on, why not?
